Our Conference Center features 110,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including a 20,000 sq. ft. Grand Ballroom, two smaller ballrooms overlooking the Pacific, and several meeting rooms for more intimate gatherings that can accommodate between 14 and 222 guests. 

                                                                                                                                  

To ensure your event meets your standards, all of our meeting venues offer individual controls for heat / air conditioning, sound, music, telephones, multiple electrical / microphone outlets, audiovisual equipment, and 100V single-phase and 220V single-phase electricity.

Conference Center

Located on the west end of our resort, the Conference Center offers a wide array of meeting and social event venues to meet the needs of your gathering. Fronted by its own Porte Cochere and an elegant lobby reminiscent of a classic Spanish villa, the Conference Center provides a complete selection of meeting rooms, from an expansive ballroom with courtyard to more intimate settings for smaller events. Our full-service Business Center is also located in the Conference Center, to help make your meeting flow even more smoothly.

Grand Ballroom
The rich, yet unobtrusive, decor and open expanse of this 20,000 square foot ballroom makes it the ideal location for any grand event. Elegant wall sconces flank sets of door leading to the surrounding grounds, for easy access to outdoor areas. Southern California’s temperate climate allows for sunshine and warm weather all year round! Entertain your meeting attendees in a theater-style set up for 2,200 with a spectacular opening session, complete with live entertainment and large AV screens for easy viewing. Lead an interactive training workshop in a classroom set up for over 1,300.  The ballroom can also be divided into as many as six separate salons, perfect for breakout sessions, buffet set ups and more. Grand Ballroom is connected to two lovely pre-function areas, including an indoor courtyard and a terrace overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Each of these areas work well for pre-meeting continental breakfasts, unique coffee breaks or cocktails prior to a formal dinner for 1,400 guests

Huntington and Vista Ballrooms
Each of these junior ballrooms, located on either side of the relaxing Lighthouse Courtyard, offer stunning views of the Pacific from their walls of arched windows. Host a delightful cocktail party in either location, with capacity ranging from 137 to 500 guests. For a unique themed event, utilize both ballrooms, each set with a different scheme, for a memorable closing night party. Each ballroom can be divided into two sections, making them ideal for brainstorming or team-building sessions in U-shape or hollow square formats.

Catalina, Shoreline, Driftwood, Seacliff, Fountain, Sunrise
This cluster of meeting rooms, easily accessible from both the Grand Ballroom and the Huntington Ballroom, are designed to accommodate small to mid-sized meeting and events. Set ups range from 26 in a boardroom style to 222 in a theater-style setting. Select one room as your “convention headquarters” for your staff, and perhaps arrange VIP or vendor dining areas in others. Create innovative coffee break areas in each, with different food & beverage options available for your guests.


Lobby Area Meeting Rooms

Just off our main hotel lobby is another collection of meeting rooms, including elegant boardrooms and venues ideal for small sized events.

Sandpiper, Goldenwest, Royal Tern
Select any of these intimate spaces to host department meetings, planning sessions with members from several teams or private dinners for VIPs. Invite your top clients for an exclusive reception, featuring exquisite hors d’oeuvres and champagne cocktails.  Gather your 25 most productive sales representatives in a U-shape set up to develop new training skills, or honor a colleague at a formal dinner with 50 guests.

Boardrooms – Bolsa Chica, Heron, Pelican
Three classically styled boardrooms offer attendees a quiet refuge in which to hold private meetings without interruption from the main conference areas. Permanently set with regal wooden board tables, luxurious executive leather chairs and deluxe work amenities, each boardroom can accommodate up to 14 guests. The rooms also include a built-in credenza for serving coffee or a working lunch, as well as equipment for more high-tech meetings. For more formal dining, either for lunch or dinner, adjourn to the exclusive Patron Room, our private dining room available for up to 12 guests in an elegant setting. 

Mariner’s Hall
Our recently remodeled exhibit center provides a spacious setting for trade shows, sales presentations and workshops.  With over 10,500 square feet of space and ceilings over 16’ feet high, Mariner’s Hall easily accommodates 65 8’x10’ booths, or 50 10’x10’ booth. Be sure to contact our in-house Audio-visual experts to bring your trade show event to the next level of showmanship.
 

Outdoor Venues

Lighthouse Courtyard
Located between the conference center and the hotel, this enchanting Courtyard offers a peaceful retreat with panoramic ocean views, a majestic bubbling fountain, lush gardens and palm trees. The large, beautifully manicured lawn and surrounding patios are ideal for outdoor coffee / exercise breaks from meetings, energizing luncheons or casual evening gatherings under the stars for 200 to 400 guests. The Lighthouse Courtyard is also our access point directly to the beach, via our own private overpass, complete with lighthouse.

California Courtyard
Situated just outside the hotel's main lobby, restaurant and lounge, this courtyard is centered by a large shimmering fountain - lit at night to capture the reflections of the surrounding palm trees and architecture - and is bordered by lovely patios and swaying palm trees.  A small grassy knoll area overlooks the Pacific Ocean, making this the perfect spot to host a memorable cocktail party or exclusive gathering for up to 200 guests.
